MODULE OVERVIEW
In an organization context, communication is not just about getting your message across. Rather, it’s about achieving the intended result. A communication loop is only complete when there are results to show. In this module, we deal with communication for results and how individuals can achieve so much more when they alter their very definition of good communication.
This module emphasize some important behaviors that lead up to communicating for results such as clarity in objective, empathy, seeking feedback and more. The learning conversation goes beyond just theoretical aspects of communication and uses an interesting activity called ‘Strand-ed’.
Through this activity, you can help participants reflect on their current tendencies and dysfunctions with respect to communication and the key behaviours they need to practice to build communication as a competency.

In this activity, the teams have to transport a ball from one specified location to another using a ring connected to strings that they can hold to maneuver the ball. There are certain constraints and rules that makes this activity a complex and layered one.
The observations from this activity are designed such that you can drive deep conversations around communicating for results and some of the dysfunctions in communication that currently exists in teams and how it can be resolved.
